Sangharsh (transl. Struggle) is a 1999 Indian Hindi-language psychological horror thriller film directed by Tanuja Chandra. It stars Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta, and Ashutosh Rana. As per the writer Mahesh Bhatt, the plot of this film was based on the 1991 film The Silence of The Lambs. However, after a few years, the film's director and writer rejected this.[2][3] Kumar's performance was critically acclaimed
